Community Celebration

June 10-13, 2010

Held the last week of school, our annual celebration kicks off summer vacation. We begin with a parade on Thursday and end with an all day “Celebration in the Park” at Lakeside Lions Park on Sunday. New this year - All American Lumberjack Show!

Sunday, June 13; Noon to 6:00 p.m. Lakeside Lions Park.

Featuring:

  • Lumberjack shows - Three 30 minute shows with a variety of ten lumber jack events, including logrolling, rotating at each show.
  • Interactive event - It’s now your turn to try logrolling & cross cut sawing!
  • Chain saw carving - Watch as lumberjacks turn blocks of wood into works of art.

Tower Days is funded entirely through donations.  Buy a button and enjoy the following Sunday events free of charge: car show, craft show, pony rides, pie eating contest, ice cream social, water wars, face painting, balloon sculpting, live musical entertainment, lumberjack shows, fun events, dunk tank, and more for all ages to enjoy.
